Viewing the issues: Obama and McCain

Below are 3 ways in which Obama and McCain believe they can solve America's problems. Pick which person's ideas that you believe would set America on the right track. Pick letter A or B, and then tell me why you picked that letter.

Climate change

A. Says climate change is real and devastating. Says US should consider joining with every other nation in the world to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, if China and India join in.

B. Wants an 80% cut in US greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Wants US to lead global effort to combat climate change. Would invest $150bn over 10 years in clean energy.

Healthcare

A. Has highlighted his record on supporting health care for military veterans. Favours tax incentives to encourage people to get personal health insurance.

B. Backs universal coverage but would not make insurance compulsory, except for children. Subsidies would be provided to make cover more affordable and insurers would be unable to refuse coverage because of pre-existing conditions.

Illegal immigration

A. Co-sponsor of bill which offered an amnesty to illegal immigrants as well as tougher border controls. Says undocumented workers already in the US should be put on path to citizenship.

B. Wants US-Mexico border better policed and backs stricter penalties for employers who hire undocumented workers. Argues that giving illegal immigrants a path to citizenship is not an amnesty if they pay a fine

Before I choose between letter A and B, I would like to add that I think A is McCain and B is Obama. Even though I don't like McCain so much, I feel that if he is A, he made some good points dealing with immigration and global warming. However when it does come to global warming I feel that B is more involved in cleaning up the world and Co2 emmisions. Both A and B make good points but I would have to go with letter B. Because when it comes to health insurance, letter A specified war veterans. Which is something I am not.

I think Rony is correct about letter A being McCain and letter B being Obama. I like Speaker B's ideas better and believe that he would set America on the right track. One of our downfalls is health care. I like the fact that Speaker B wants to provide a grant of money to make insurance more affordable. Also, A and B make good points about climate change, but i feel that letter B is more dedicated to clean up the environment. Overall, i just like Speaker B's ideas better than Speaker A.

I think that A & B make good points.ihave to say i believe what B is talking about although A had a better idea about immigration. B caresmore about actually helping out then A seems too. I think the one who has a better plan in helping the economy and people in general would make a better president because people will see that they are trying to improve this country.

I agree with Rony and Charlene when they say A is McCain and B is Obama.B has stated many ways that we could change some of our nations problems. He is for the people.H e wants to helping working class gain the same rights as the wealthy. He is taking the rigth tone with dealing with our immigration problem. So i believe B has abetter plan for helping the united states.

I belive that letter A is McCain and letter B is Obama. I would have to say that i agree with letter B more than A. Although Letter A makes some good points but I just think that veterans are not as important as the youth, i also think that making health care more affordable is a better idea because if more people had health care then it would cheaper for the people that poor

When it comes to solving America's problems both Speaker A and Speaker B make good points. I agree with the comments above that Speaker A is McCain and Speaker B is Obama. Although Speaker A made some good points in immigration, i believe that Speaker B is more dedicated into bringing back America on track. With climate change Speaker B talks about cutting down US greenhouse gas emissions, and highlighted better points in healthcare. Speaker A doesnt seem very invlove in these topics, so for that being said I believe that Speaker B has a better idea in solving America's problems.

First i would like to say that Obama is B and McCain is A. If i had to choose between them i would choose B beacuse i feel that B is being more invlode in helpin Americas Problems and that A is choosing the more impossible path to fixin the problems. I Didnt choose A for Climate change because trying to get everyone in the world to join with be impossible not everyone like the US. I love the Idea of health care for B because he is really trying to fix that problem by making all the kids having health insurence but not making everyone have it. FOR the illegal immigration i choose actually A beacuse i feel that B is being way to hard on them by Paying most likly the immigrants dont have money and most likly the fine are not going to be cheap. But both have great i deas on fixing these Issues

I chose illegal immigration and i chose A because i feel that there should be tighter sercurity at the boarders. I also agree because why send people back to their countries when they're here already. I believe that they should be helped to be a legal citizen and America should have pride that so many people want to come here. This shows that America is a great place to live.

i like both views but i would go with letter B more espescially on illegal immigration. If you go to any business you would see that each business that you go to would have at least 2 or more illeagl immigrants working for them. mind you they aren't even blue collar workers. the only thing i don't agree with letter B is investing $150bn over 10 years in clean energy. Did they think about what the people has to say about that. Technically its our tax money they are using for this. think if they go ahead and do this then the taxes would go up dramatically because they government needs to consume more money to put that in effect. The healthcare issue i dont really understand so i don't agree with anyone.

well i think A&B both make good points and both have good ideas but i think A's ways are better because they're simple and aren't to confusing. I think A's ideas are more likely to werk espeacially with immigrancy because the border does need more police but why fine the ones already here for years wen they could've been here long enough for citizenship. Letter A also makes a good point wen he says that the U.S should join with china, etc to try and reduce the number of greenhouse gasses because thats everyone contributing to the environment so everyone should try and reduce it.

i go wit letter A..although letter B stated some good points but i agree with letter A. To me he is handling each case real well and i think if da immigrants is already here dey should have a path to citizenship i mean come on u got to give it to them for beating the system . its not their faults why the system is so easy to get through

A+B have both have pretty good Ideas, but I think B is more interested in reshaping America.B's climate change plan is more planned and goal oriented. Since America probably has the largers carbon foot print of the biodome, It should be us leading the global effort. On the Health care issue B is more interested in getting involved to make sure health care is more affordable (and he used a lot of big words so he like smart and junk), while A honostly didnt seem to be very interested in health care outside the military. B's position in Immigration is a little harsh, but I;m no politition. I can really tell you whats good for the country on terms of immigration,So Im pretty much undecided on that point.

P.S- B is soooooooooo Obama!

I think that person b's idea would set america on track. I chose person B because he wants to lead golbal effort to combat climate change. He would also invest money in clean energy. In health care he would make insurance compulsory except for children . He also wants the us-mexico border to be better policed. I agree with person B because he has all the ideas that we really need he would make a better america .I feel that he is more concerned about us than person A . I especially agree with the way that he will work in illegal immigration if theres better patrol then less immigrants will be able to cross the border. Person is the best choice for all of us.

I think that person A and Person B both have great ideas. But I myself personally have to agree with person B. When it comes down to cLimate change, Letter A wants to change the combat cLimate and invest money in to cLeaner air for ourselve. When it comes to health care, Letter B wants to give money to the health insurance so that it is affordable, and when it comes down to immigration Letter B wants a stricter patrol which is exactly what we need. in this case person B is exactly what we need to set America on the right track.

If Obama was apeaker B and speaker A was McCain, i believe that speaker A had the better solutions for the noted issues than speaker B. Although i may think that one president is better than the other, the president in which i dont agree with most of he time may have some good ideas for certain issues. I totally agree with speaker A's plan to change global warming and i also agree with speaker A's plan for illegal immigrants. i woild choose candidate A for these issues.

I believe that both speaker A and B made some good points. The reason for that is that i believe speaker B specified more on the topic healthcare because he plans to add more money to help us out rather then speaker A who stated that military veterans would be insured and should have personal insurance but not everyone is a military veteran. But Speaker A said good things about global warming then speaker B and its like speaker A wants to keep the enviroment cleaned because he talked about the nation combining together. And as for immigration i think what they stated could be better.

I THINK A AND B BOTH HAVE GOOD POINT. AND THEY EXPRESS THINGS IN DIFFERENT WAYS. WHAT THEY BOTH REALLY WANT ITS WHAT'S BEST FOR USE. BUT B IS MORE INTERESTING IN HEALTH CARE AND MAKING EASIER AND CHEAPER. THEN AGAIN A OPIONS ARE GOOD TO GET. I BELIEVE IF UR A IMMIGRANT IN THE U.S U SHOULD NOT BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR COUNTRY. IF THEY COMING HERE TO MAKE $$$$$ FOR THEIR FAMILYZ
